Cap-A-Radiator merged with Acme Radiator in July of 2023. All of Classic Radiators 40 years of knowledge and experience was merged with Acme Radiator's 75 years of presence on Long Island. Cap-A-Radiator has been specializing in cooling systems since the Farmingdale shop opened in 1982 and has been deep into the sub-specialty of classic and antique radiator and heater restorations for over 20 years! That is where the name Classic Radiator was born. People who love their cars and know the importance of a properly-functioning cooling system have been shipping their radiators and heaters to Classic Radiator from all over the world to do the right repairs because they know that they can trust Bill Carberry to treat their babies every bit as well as he would if they were his own personal classic cars.

A quick note on Bill Carberry. He bought his first car at 16 years old, a 1954 Chevy that's even older than himself! For his next car, only one year later, he bought one closer to his own age, a 1959 Ford Galaxie. Both cars are still owned by him today. He has more recently added a 55 Buick Roadmaster and a 59 Ford convertible to his collection.

Bill's true passion in life is the restoration of vintage vehicles, whether it's a 55 Buick Roadmaster or a 1959 Ford Galaxie with a big block engine and Positraction rear, Bill Carberry can make it go!
